Resolutions are general intentions to do better and studies have shown as few as 1 in 10 of us stick to the resolutions we select. Goals are a commitment which enable you to track your progress and celebrate success.
Setting goals can make you feel more in control of your life and I for one prefer having something realistic and achievable to aim for.
Goals enable you to:
- Track your progress
Goals allow you to see how far you have come, which gives you momentum to keep going.
- Direct your focus
Goals can help you to identify what is really important to you and guide your action towards these things.
- Increase self-confidence
The more progress you make towards your goals the more you see yourself as someone who can do it.
- Rethink set-backs
Obstacles and set-backs can be beneficial when you are working towards goals, they allow you to learn what works for you.
- Improve time-management
Goals help you to manage your time effectively and avoid procrastination.
If 2023 is the year you decide to improve your wellbeing, then we are here to support you all the way.
Your wellbeing is important as it effects your mental, emotional and physical health.
Your relationships, how satisfied you are with your life, the feeling that what you do in life is worthwhile, your job and your finances can all effect your wellbeing. Our team can support you with every aspect of your wellbeing, from financial to emotional, physical to cultural.
Start your year as you mean to go on and make your wellbeing a priority this January.
Join Sacha on Thursday 19 January 12:30pm-1:00pm for a Goal setting workshop and look at how to create goals that are carefully planned, clear and trackable to promote your wellbeing for 2023.
